About Me
I'm here to meet someone special so we can spend the rest of our years exploring new places, adventures and quiet times. We'll start as friends, share good times and see what develops. You can never have too many friends!
I'm a very independent woman, and you will hsve to appreciate that in me. I've always felt it's better to be with someone because they want you, not because they need you or something you provide. I'm optimistic, upbeat and try to be nice and appreciate those same qualities in men. I'm known for my loyalty and supportive nature.
My only son has moved out and I'm looking to "downsize" all my belonging to free up time and money for a little travel. I'm interested in a diverse variety of activities. Diving in Thailand, exploring the Costa Rican rain forest or traveling to all the national parks in an RV. It would be especially fun to meet another diver, or someone who likes to ballroom dance. It's great fun and exercise. Do you have any ideas to add to the list?
I work in the health professions, have a good education, speak 2 languages well and can butcher a couple more. I try to keep active with dancing, walking, diving and the occaisional adult education class. I try to eat healthy too. I come from an Engish/Irish/German/ Dutch background.
I've finally updated my photos which span 2006 thru 2008 and so you should have a fair idea what I look like. As a woman I reserve the right to change my hairstyle /color at any time!

First Date
Well, that generally would be a simple coffee or something. Or, if you dive we could meet on a dive boat. I'm Padi AOW/nitrox diver with over 300 logged dives. Whatever we decide to do, It should allow us the opporturnity to talk & get to know one another.
