I am an educated redneck, semi retired professional engineer who has learned to chill out and not sweat the small stuff. Oh yeah, I know when to be serious, but I have also learned to just deal with the issue and get back to peace and humor. My passion in the spring,summer and fall is boating and fishing and traveling . I seek someone who has reached the point in their lives where they know that we are placed in this life to enjoy each other's company and to have some fun. I see some on line who say they enjoy long walks on the beach, or are into physical fitness and working out. Hey, I think that's great. For them, not for me. The last time I took a long walk I went into the back door of a walmart store only to find that the item I wanted was all the way on the other side of the building. WHEW!!! I though I was going to have to call a cab to get back to my car. Dancing? Yeah, I suppose that too can be fun. However, the last time I danced was this past Memorial day. I didn't mean to be dancing at that time actually and I believe my brother in law when he says he didn't mean to drop those hot charcoal sparks down my britches either. OK! So chronologically I am an old fart....Old Farts need loving too ya know. But actually mentally I am a young Toot. I am as funny as Rodney Dangerfield (but better looking), Have the adventurist spirit of Charles Limburg (but better looking and still alive) and the sexual appetite of Hugh Hefner (But. hmm. he is a pretty good looking guy.HEY! I am younger than him though) OH! Did I mention that I am as wacky as Robin Williams and definitely better looking..umm except he has more hair than I do. I can be as down to earth as the next person. However, I have a witty sense of humor and think that everyone should be walking around most of the time with a smile on their face. That's just my personality. I have never had to tell anyone I was sorry for being overly cheerful, but I have had to appolized for being grouchy.I avoid the latter

Oh what the heck...Let's turn it into a "Happening" I enjoy doing almost anything, first date or otherwise...However, I think that it is best on the first date to have a "Meet and Greet", someplace where we can both be comfortable and meet as friends and see if there is some kind of chemistry (OH Lord...I hate that term!!)
