Hey,
I'm Matt, which basically sums it up, but that's not enough, so here's this.

First off, my profile states that I am looking for Friends, and that is true. I would like to find someone special, but I don't want to force it by saying I'm only looking for someone to date, or be in a relationship with.

Anyway...

I listen to music far to much. I download to many discographies, and I am running out of space to put them. I have more music than I remember buying/downloading. And although my main liking in music has been punk rock since high school, I love all all types of music. Music is always a good idea for starting a conversation with me. I've started writing for a website, reviewing music, and posting other opinion related articles. It's a lot of fun, and I enjoy it.

I also play a lot of music. I started around fourteen with my Dad's fiddle, and went from there to the bass which I've been playing since the age of 16, and the guitar that I got at 17. I've pretty well settled into playing the acoustic, but I still like to rock out now and then.

I love animals. I work at a pet store, and I have pets of my own. I have a lovebird named Faye who hates all my music, except Broken Social Scene. I like keeping fish. I love dogs, and hopefully when I get the space for one I will get one.

I have some good ideas of where I want to go in my life, I just want to have fun, and learn a lot more before I get there. I've often thought teaching would be fun and rewarding, but I have a feeling that I will just end up shouting my ideas at passers by on a street corner.

My style is mostly whatever I want it to be when I wake up in the morning, which is normally whatever pants and shirt are closest to me at the moment. I have 6 piercings; two gauged plugs in each lobe, one ring in my left cartilage, and a ring in my lip, which is my favorite. I would like to get some tattoos, but until I have a good idea of what I want, and the money to get them, they will have to wait.

People tend to go on about their good side in these things, but here are a few of my not-so-great qualities. I can be extreamly jealous. When I am angry, I get very sarcastic, and cynical. When I am sad, I am depressed, and I want nothing more than for people to pay attention to me. I can talk too much, and sometimes I don't know when a good time to end something is. And if I'm in the mood, I will argue for the sake of doing so, whether I believe in the point I am defending or not.
