Idealy Id like to meet someone in my age range, or younger, I have ventured into other sights, only to find that most women have no clue what they are looking for, or are just there to play games with a persons emotions,dont even think about contacting me if thats all your about because Im nothing like that, and I certainly wont tollerate it.I know fully well what Im after in life, a person I can commit to, be devoted to for life, I hope to find that one, that makes my sense tingle every time I see her. I have been married before, and unfortunately, I choose a mate that was no where close to being devoted to a relationship, I realize the preverbial yellow brick road does not exist, hard work, and understanding go a long way. Hopefully I can find someone who matches me in the dedication I have to a committed relationship, could it be you?

Im a somewhat complex person, a bit hard to get through my somewhat guarded exterior, if you manage to do this, you will find Im very giving, very unselfish, and a rather sensitive male, (yes, we do exist), BUT, Im VERY intollerant of games, so dont even go there with me, its the one and only thing I ask, show me the respect, that you would expect in return!!!!.

Im somone who enjoys little things in life, I own a gold wing 1800 cycle (sorry, no, its not a harley, and if thats all you will ride, then your not for me anyway) and enjoy riding that, if you would want to come along, thats all the better, curling up with that special someone to a good movie is always a welcome respite from a long week, or packing up the camper for a weekend get away (especially if you want to attend country fest with me, yep, thats my time to bring out the cowboy hat), ultimately, Im looking for that person, that when I wake up next to her in the morning, her hair all a mess (as im sure mine will be to), thats when i look at her, and say ,"I'm the luckiest man in the world"!!!!

I have a son who's in college, and I miss him alot, he grew up on me way to fast, but Im as proud as can be of him, and know he will make some lucky lady a very good husband someday, I think he has learned from the mistakes he has seen his father make, he has a passion for children, one that to this day, still amazes me.

I am rather choosey who I will date, at this time in my life, I feel I have a right to be, I have been single for better than 10 years now, and do quite well on my own, this being said, I know fully well, life would be so much more special, with someone in it, if you take a chance to get to know me, you just might like what you find, if not, perhaps you made a new friend at the very least, so what have you got to loose?

I serve on an ambulance service in a neighboring small town, I have been doing this for better than 23 years, at times it can be oh so rewarding, and then there those times when you just wish you could walk away from it all, (very intollerant of drunk patients) LOL. Still, I know my co workers on the service appreciate my dedication, so for them, as much as for myself, I stick with it.

I guess if you choose to contact me, or say hi, should I contact you, I expect as much respect from you, as you would expect from me, People I have met through this site so far, seem quite rude or snobbish (with a few exceptions), it takes so little time to say hi, and definitely puts you ahead of the game as far as first impressions, something you only get one chance at, I am known for im'ing people, just to say hi, and see if I can find a way to make them smile, so dont be surprised if I pop in on you sometime as well.

P.S. Photo #2 & #3 are not gf's, or a wife, etc., just frineds I have met at country fest in Cadot, so dont get the wrong impression right off the bat, they were just some photos that I had to use, usually Im behind the camera, not in front of it. I also sign on here from time to time on a mobile device, and then the instant messenger wont work, so if you try to say hi that way, I truly mean no offense if I dont reply, I'm just not getting it there.

P.s.P.s LOL, I have heard the "Do you know you look just like Jim Carey" thing way to many times, the latest was "You remind me of George Strait" (gotta admit, that was quite a compliment), but seriously people, I dont see it, I'm me!!!!just plain ol me!!! ok?

My first date should be relaxed, something both people like to do, it could be a relaxing ride on my cycle through the country side, (weather permitting), perhaps a drive to no place particular, a good movie, or just a quiet dinner, or perhaps an evening getting our blood pumping on the dance floor (something I love to do).

As long as both are agreeable, and enjoy the evening, almost anything can be ideal, enjoying each others company is key, getting to know one another well before that first date, I think is what makes or breaks that first date, In the past, I have sometimes let my heart go way to soon, this has been a goal of mine to change, I realize its not healthy at all, and have learned many times the hard way, we shall see how I do, but its something Im striving for.
