Update: Well, as of January 2009, the first kid is 17 months old, and I am carrying a second child. Turns out that hubby and I are a bit fertile.
I am an honest person to a fault. I do like to garden. When I grow my garden, I use planting containers. I like the idea of being able to move my plants for situations like moving to a new dwelling.
Dancing, it has been a few years since I have danced with a partner and dancing alone has not done anything for me. I know how to Waltz. I can do 2 types of the 2-step dance. I know the Electric Slide, I am really rusty at doing it.
Camping and Outdoors are things I prefer doing with a person I really like. Even hunting is more fun when I am with a person I really like.
Nature treasure hunting, for me that is going out and searching for morel mushrooms in forest fire burns or going to mountain tops and picking savory huckleberries.
Arts & Crafts, that is a wide range of things for me. I know how to sew clothes, just not a high interest in my life right now. I crochet different things, and it is a great stress reliever. I have a fair hand at drawing. I am able to assemble interesting projects that turn out really good (I have assembled 2 fake x-mas wreathes one in 2003 and one in 2004 that look really nice). I try my hand at making bead necklaces using seed beads and beading thread. I have decorated a few simple staffs, at least 2 I am keeping for myself.
Games, on many types I am a total novice. A few games I can give a person a run on their skills. I am able to play board games (RISK, Monopoly, checkers, chess I know the basics on, Aggravation which is similar to Parcheesi, & Chinese checkers). I can play a few card games (Pinochle, Poker, Blackjack, UNO, Solitaire I have been taught 3 types, Cribbage). Handheld electronic games are okay.
When it comes to RPG, I am a true novice. The main RPG I have been exposed to was MechWarrior which was produced by FASA. I have a few Mech's designed and only one pilot created. On D&D I have been reading the Dragon magazines, so I have a tiny understanding on how that is played. Then there are the computer RPG: Sacred, Diablo, Black and White, Dungeon Siege. Update: Since February 2006 I have been playing the MMORPG called World of Warcraft. I have a few characters and none are at level 60 when the Burning Crusades expasion was released. (If your reading this before the release I was typing ahead.)
Computers, what I know was learned from guys who are interested in computers or work in the computer field. I do find computers to be very fascinating, primarily there are a lot of things a person can do utilizing them.
Television, since getting my computer in September of 2004 (and connecting to the internet) I have found TV to be basically boring. When I have access to a TV that has Cable/Dish connection, I tend to gravitate to the cartoon or educational channels such as HGTV. Though the Sci-Fi channel would be nice to have periodically.
I can not fully say who-I-would-like-to-meet, for each person is different. So, when I meet a person, I am trying to figure out who they are on a whole. Learning that normally doesn't happen overnight. If you like what I like in general, then you fit my basic qualifications along with the aspect of preferably working and supporting himself.
Married, so not dating. I do have an intellectual guy who like music, kids, pets, and sushi to name a few. We both like to play RPGs (MMORPG and book based varietys).
