I don't believe you can learn much about a person by reading what they think about themselves. I prefer to draw my own conclusions based on experience and contact, I like to think there are other people out there that think similarly. I do enjoy the company of intelligent, clever women.
I am alone without being lonely, that seems to confuse people. Yes this is a dating site where you are encouraged to find a mate, friend, booty call, whatever it is you are searching for, and I am looking. Having said that I am comfortable if not content being alone until I find someone that I am compatible with.
I do not hunt, not because I have anything against it (got my fill in my teenage years), just always struck me as easy when the prey does not have a thumb and opposing forefinger to be able to shoot back.
I do however like to go fishing, but will catch and release unless I am in Alaska or somewhere in the northwest catching something worth eating that I cannot get in the grocery store. Why spend thousands on equipment and travel to catch and eat something I could have gotten in the local Price Chopper?
I marked that I have children, I do. Having said that I should also say that I found out I have a child when she was already 13 years old and despite my efforts, we are not close.........yet.
Finally, I believe we all have an obligation to support this amazing country we live in regardless of who is in the White House. I don't claim a party, I think the current political system was designed for a population of 1-2 million people and a much smaller less cumbersome government. If you lean to far to the right or the left and insist on pushing your political beliefs down others throats, DO NOT contact me :)
