I've got four kids: one is deceased, the other three are out on their own. I've got three grandsons & one granddaughter. I consider myself shy but get along with most people. I'm a former partier. It took me a few years to realize that partying wasn't in my best interest. No I wasn't arrested or anything like that, lol; life is just easier when you have a clear head most of the time! I don't like too much drama. I don't like the bar scene. A couple of drinks is fine, but I dislike any more than that. I'm usually in a good mood.

I'm a Mother Earth News kind of person, in philosophy anyway. I think we need to take care of our Earth and quit being so dependant on other countries for our energy. I'm interested in solar, wind & geo-thermal energy.

I love classic rock, things like the Eagles, the Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp, Elton John, many, many more. Some of the new stuff too: Nickelback, Hinder, Red Hot Chili Peppers. I love going to concerts.

Ideally I am looking for someone close to my hometown or someone between my hometown & Cedar Rapids (where I work). Beginning in 2010 I will get part of every weekend off. (Woo hoo!) Since I work overnights, I'm often out of sync with the rest of the world. (That's why coffee is so important, lol.) It's just the way it is & can't be changed at the moment, unless of course you are a sugar daddy & want to change all of that, lol.
