Let me start with correcting my age. I was born in 1968, not 72. For some reason I failed to catch this and I cannot change this in my settings. I have not been on here for a while, so I had not noticed this. A friend of mine just pointed this out to me. Sorry for the confussion.

I am looking for someone worth investing time in and hopefully develop a long term relationship from it. I will settle for friends and people to hang out with. I am not in a rush. I would like to take the time to make sure we really do click. I have many great qualities and am open to new experiences. I am a great guy with much to offer, although, sometimes I feel invisible. I have met many women who complain about men being jerks and how there seems to be no "good men" left. I am a good friend first, and I guess that's why I become invisible when it comes to romance. So ladies, if you are claiming that there aren't any good men left, I would say, you need to get in touch with me and I will prove you wrong. I am ready to be with the one woman who will inspire me to try and be better every day. I am not looking for perfection nor do I profess to be perfect. I just want honesty and openness and to see where it goes.

I have played the games and jumped through the hoops and am no longer interested in doing it. I have been unlucky the last few years. My last two relationships have been a bit rocky simply due to incompatibility. I am polite, and respectful. I enjoy conversations and like to communicate when there is a disagreement or a problem. I believe in allowing a person the opportunity to make adjustments, or changes to habbits we may find annoying. I believe it takes time for a person to find their identity in new relationships.

I am willing to do whatever it takes on my part to make a good relationship work and so should my partner.

I am open to any race or cultural background, as I have dated within many different races. You will be defined by the person you show me to be, (by your actions), not by looks, nor by what I am told. I try and keep an open mind.

I am looking for real people, with no hidden agenda. I am open for making friends or dating or whatever evolves. Eventually, I am hoping to find that one special lady. I am not a believer of telling a woman what she wants to hear just to get what I want. I will be honest and direct and will have no problem in communicating what I think or feel. In return, I expect the same consideration.

I will lay this out as well, I am a single father. Have been for over 12 years. My daughter comes first, as I would expect your child(ren), if you have any, to be first for you. This is who I am and will expect for my friends, or girlfriend, to not only accept, but understand and support me on this.
