Recently moved back to WA from CA. After 5 years in CA I feel a bit like I went to heaven or the closest thing to it for me. I didn't know I would miss the PNW as much as I did, but after a year in CA, I spent 4 years trying to get back here. And if I have anything my way I am here to stay!
I believe when we do not look we will stumble upon someone great for us. I believe there are so many lonely people in the world because everyone is always saying they will not settle. And I do not believe we have to settle, I do think we need to all look at the inner person more than what we see on the outside. However this seems to be harder to do than anything else for people. 20 years ago I had this big list of things I wanted in a man. And to be honest I found them all and was never fully happy anyway.
So I took time out from dating to see what it was I was really looking for. And I realized it was not up to me to look. But to learn to be happy with where I was and who I am. And now that I have taken three years of timeout from dating I am hopeful God will send that man who is best for me.
As far as I go, first and far most I do not have a type or date within any age or race boundries. I will even go so far to say I would move across the world if I was sure you were the one God intended me to be with. I love to travel and have found there is no better way to truely find out about yourself and how adaptable you really are in life. I would love to get on the Amazing Race!
So I am praying for a man of like faith. One who loves the Lord and is spirit filled or open to the possibility. I do not know how Christians make it in the world without that part. We all have physical things that attract us to someone but at this point in life I am finding personality much more attractive than looks.
I am an adventure seeker and adrenaline junkie, so I hope you will be open to things like ziplining, bungee, roller coasters, motorcycles and skydiving! I love the outdoors and grew up in Montana my whole childhood so camping, fishing and hiking are all in my blood. I am able to dress up and play the part if I need to , but prefer to be in shorts or jeans and a tee shirt. Always been a tomboy with a girly twist when I need it....lol

Faith is not necessary when you know how things are going to work out, - that's knowledge. It's in the time of unknowing that having faith is what sees you through to the other side. Faith is what gives you strength. Faith is that light in your heart that keeps on shining even when it's all darkness outside. Now is the time to keep that faith alive!

I think this is up to the two people going on a date and their interests. Personally I think it is great to have a guy plan a date. I am huge on elements of suprise and seeing how much someone listens to what you tell them about you! Creativity is key! I am simple and down to earth so it does not have to be anything that even cost something. Just time doing anything to get to know a new person.
