I've been divorced for some time, no children, enjoy life totally. I'm just getting back on after being off for approx. 9 months and find myself back out there again. I tend to meet people everywhere I go. I'm very bubbly, energetic, physically fit, takes pride in my appearance and very grounded. I love to eat out and do so when I can. I'm very content and know how to enjoy that evening at home as well. A year ago this December, I had to put my pooch down of 12 1/2 years, which was really, really tough, although the best thing to do at the time. So needless to say, after having animals in my life for 26 years, I'm enjoying my new freedom and have actually become much more spontaneous as well. Although I have found myself missing that companionship, I think I'll dog sit instead. :-) In any case, having that freedom after so long is definitely a cool thing. I do "love" to laugh and try to surround myself with people whom feel the same. I do believe in spark and chemistry and am looking for just that in order to move on with someone and to get to know them better. Well, I'm sure we all could say a lot of things about oneself, but what better way then to really get to know me, then to respond and see for yourself. I also prefer to meet in person sooner rather than later. Why waist the time. So if interested, who knows, we may be chatting LIVE and in person before you know it.

Some of my favorite places to visit locally vary between Annapolis, Inner Harbor and Columbia. I do love the Comedy Factory, Muvico, Shows at the Lyric and Myerhoff/Festivals. Enjoy horseback riding when I can find the time and what girl doesn't enjoy shopping.

I'm looking for someone who is assertive, secure, also knows what he wants and isn't afraid to express it. He has his own hobbies/interest and also takes pride in his appearance as well. He can appreciate differences and look at some of those as a positive and not a negative. I look at things as the glass is half full and not half empty, so if you are someone who drinks out of that same glass, then definitely give me a shout.

There is nothing worse than sitting across from someone for hours when you'd rather be home or out by yourself. You can never be sure that whom you are meeting is whom they say, so I'd much rather prefer a short meeting at first and then if there is a spark and/or a mutual connection, then I'd say plans for a first date could follow. I'm sure you've been there as well, so keeping it short, keeps the pressure off and no expectations. Also keeps the excitement of that real 1st date brewing. Who knows, something that starts off as dating could turn into something more meaningful.
