Ok, so I'm absolute rubbish at describing myself. Trying to write my personality down into a little box is harder, for me, than trying to imagine how to realistically and sensibly turn a limousine or minivan into a convertible or amphib.

In the end, it's always a bit disjointed as I sit here and try to think of what I should say before plonking each thought down as a separate paragraph.

So... Here it is, please forgive.


I am trusting, respectful, honest, affectionate, and love physical contact.
I like just about all music with only a few exceptions (new country, most gangsta rap, screamo). I love comedy and humour, the classics and contemporary music, cinema and television. I'd like to believe that I like far more than I dislike, and love far more than I hate. I'm a fun and funny guy and I never have a problem making people laugh.

I'm a very communicative person, when there's something for me to say, but I'm not always very talkative. I like a gentle touch or caress as much or more than conversation just to break the silence.

I love the ocean and the beach, but I realize that I'm bottom of the food chain there, so am really only comfortable in the shallows in the daytime. In general, I'm nervous being in water where I can't see the bottom. It used to be because I had a fear of big hungry fish or unseen sunken trees. Now, though, it's more that I have what my friend Yon describes as a specific gravity greater than 1. That means I sink quite quickly.

I am half Chinese on my mother's side, and am quite proud of my heritage, yet I also consider myself a bit of a secret Brit. I like to imagine that it would be easy to become an English citizen because my father's heritage comes from England (one of the easy in requirements for citizenship) and my mother was born in an English colony. ;)

I'm a Djinni and have magical powers.

Just kidding, I'm not really a loonie. xD

I believe in equal rights for everyone, regardless of gender, religion, sexual orientation or race; this includes the right for gays to marry and adopt. It does not, however, include allowing one to preclude the other, such as believing that women should be treated like chattel because some archaic patriarchal religion says it's how it should be. (Thanks to my Sister, my Aunt and an ex, I am feminist.)

I'm not a fan of animal cruelty at all. This includes hunting, trophy fishing, dog/cock fighting, puppy mills, and Mitsubishi. >.> Etc.

I'm a dog person, though my house isn't really dog safe and I'm not home nearly enough to give one the attention it would require.

When it comes to sports, I like cricket (No, it's not dull. Only people who haven't watched say so.), Australian Rules Football, Brit Touring Car Championships, and Takeshi's Castle. :3 Though not so much that I will give them priority over anything but other things on TV.

**I take care of myself, physically, and am always working to get myself into better shape, and I'd like for my potential partner to be doing the same for herself.**

I think it would be great to meet someone with a green thumb, someone who could show me how to have a nice garden and help me maintain it. I would also love to meet someone who can help me learn how to cook properly so that we can cook for each other and for our future children. I really want to settle down and have a life with someone.

I love very short hair on women, to me it's just so sexy; even no hair is sexy to me. I always find myself irresistibly drawn to women with short hair.

Big thing, here: I'm not into games, period. If you want to know something about me, ask. If you want to know how I'll react to something, ask me. Give me an example situation and ask how I'll react. I /will/ answer honestly. I'm a very candid person. So if you're the type of person who feels they have to play a mind game to find something out, if you consider yourself high maintenance, or if everyone tells you you're a drama queen, then I'm not the person for you.

There's never really a lot to do here in this city; and because I'm not a big drinker and cigarette smoke gives me a headache and makes my lungs burn, I don't really like the club scene.

Enjoying a day at the park in Seville Square, a day at the Zoo, and perhaps a nice sunset at Pensacola Beach.

(Though one day, I plan to learn horseback riding; that would make an enjoyable date, as well, I think. :)
