THE BOOK OF LOVE

Some judge a book by it’s cover while others
base a relationship solely on a persons looks.
What lies between the pages goes unread &
unappreciated. Desire can’t be seen & passion
is not an instantaneous emotion. For in life
what you see is not always what you get & what
you get is not always what you wanted to begin
with. If you never take the time to discover
what’s inside then you just might miss the
adventure of a lifetime. Some read for excitement,
some read for pleasure but never to open the
book will allow you to know neither. You just
can’t skim the pages to find how love can save
the soul. The heart can help you understand the
story as it was written to complete the reader,
body and mind. It can’t be read in just one night.
A work of art must be savored slowly over time.
Consume the contents too quickly and you will
have missed life’s meaning contained within.
