Recently moved to Richmond, and have lived in the Vancouver area for about 2 years. I'm still kind of new to the area and people, and in general, I'd love to meet new people. I'm not really looking for any one thing in particular, but company in life, be it friends or something a little more serious. I'd love to make new friends, or even see something more happen if it does.

I'm shy, but no one believes this. If I don't know you, I may seem awkward and quiet, but it doesn't happen often. My sense of humour is random. I like a good thinking joke as much as I like the simple potty humour. I'll laugh at almost anything, and dish out just about anything.

I'm loyal to my friends, family, and anyone else close to me. For them, my word is my bond, and I'll go to any length, to keep my word. I'm their shoulder to cry on, their ear to complain to, and the one they turn to for anything else.

I like to have fun. Whether it's getting a group of friends together to play video games (Mario Party!), movie nights, some drinks at the pub, or just random hijinx outside under the cover of night. Or putting a UPS bag on my head, with a few labels calling it a pope hat, while waiting for our systems at work to be fixed.

I'm not huge on parties, but I do go from time to time. I usually prefer something a little more intimate, where I can sit and enjoy the company of the person(s) I'm with, so often times, I prefer to go to a pub, over a bar or club. Infact, some of the most fun nights I can remember when going out with friends, involved going to a pub, then the hijinx that ensued as we walked home.

I'm a big music buff and listen to quite a wide range of it. Some of my favourite genres include classical, ska, jazz, rock, and electronic. I used to (and on rare occasions still do) play the piano, and the saxophone. Lately I've even been attempting to teach myself the guitar... rather poorly, I might add.

More recently I've actually been putting some of my more recent education into use, and working on a low-budget film project with some people whom I went to film school with. It's in the early stages, and it's hardly a paying day job right now, but it's what I want to end up doing as a living, so I'm diving into this project with the same passion and zeal as I would a paid one.

First date? How about a walk? There's some awesome sights if you just go for a walk, especially around sunset near the waterfront. Would be fun to go for a walk and see many of the sights I've yet to see in town, especially with some company. If neither of us has seen it, it can be an adventure, if one of us has, it could still be a lot of fun.

About the bar/nightclub scene. Its not entirely my thing. It really needs to be a "if the mood strikes" kind of thing, for me. But I can't rule it out.
