I consider myself an out-going, positive person who appreciates and accepts the individual differences of others without confronting or judging them. One's inner qualities trumps their possession of "stuff" anytime. I enjoy outdoor activities as well as attending sporting events or the theatre. I'm comfortable in most any situation whether it be fine dining or a picnic, at a comedy club or just taking a walk together, browsing a book store or playing cards. Just being with someone whose company you enjoy is more important than worrying about planning the perfect event for the date. I find it intriguing to discover quaint, out-of-the-way places for a meal. Though I am actively involved in several social and community organizations because I enjoy giving my time and talents for good causes, I try to find time for doing things I enjoy such as playing the piano, keeping track of current events, reading, exercising, and socializing. Having God as the central focus of my life is important to me, and while others may feel differently, I would expect them to afford me the same consideration that I would give them in return.

I am interested in meeting a gentleman who is a good communicator and confident enough to have expectations not limited to just emailing someone online as a hobby with no intentions (if things go well and there is a mutual interest) of eventually moving to a phone visit, afterwhich meeting in person or not is a possibility. Otherwise, both parties should be willing to admit there is no interest and move on, rather than just disappearing without a word. This could be discussed by phone prior to meeting the first time. Basically I would think that both of us would be focused on getting to know more about the other person and deciding if there is any interest in a second meeting, which would depend on what kind of vibe we get from this initial meeting. The setting should be someplace quiet where we could talk to each other over coffee or a drink.
