Updating this once again.

I'm a 30 year old who lives in a small town where it is next to impossible to meet new people. I currently spend most of my nights in watching tv, playing video games, or reading and am looking for someone to help motivate me to get off my butt and do something a little more interesting. I would like to go out more, but it seems like all of my friends prefer to stay in most nights and I don't feel up to going to a bar by myself.

I can be a bit shy at first, but find that I have an easy time opening up to people once I get to know them a little better. I have a good sence of humor and enjoy good conversation about almost everything. I'm a little out of the loop however when it comes to current events as I try to avoid watching the news. (I find it's usually way to depressing.)

I work for a small company in the same town where I live in the accounting department and am happy for the most part. There are days where I would love to find something else, but I've reached a point where I am financially stable and am able to enjoy myself quite a bit.

I might not be the most interesting person in the world, but I think I have a lot to offer someone as both a friend or more. I am looking for someone to share my time and life with, but would love to hear from people even if it leads to nothing more then an internet friendship.

Truthfully I've been single for a long time now and don't have the first clue as to how to jump back into the dating waters, but am willing to try, even if I make a fool out of myself from time to time.
