i am a daily recreational runner (treadmill), 36-40/week. i enjoy hanging out with my family, hanging out with my friends in a casual atmosphere, anything outdoors in the warm weather (not a fan of the cold), bbqs, music (i guess see above). i am not materialistic and live a modest lifestyle...live within my means and never deprive myself of what i want. i am a simple, girl-next-door type of person. i would like to meet someone, who too, is physically active (doesn't have to be everyday, i'm a sucker for strong arms though). i am looking for somebody who doesn't have to always be on the go but content with a quiet night in, especially during the week. the weekends is another story. not looking for the games and drama either! i am a diciplined (creature of habit) person , not opposed to losing some of it!
i am financially stable and can hold my own! not to say that i would not enjoy pampering:) everyone deserves some TLC. give some and receive some. i am a bit old-fashion in that i prefer the man to initiate an email,date, etc. although, i do realize this is 2000 and does not work like that today. on the other hand,i am not shy to initiate an email. i know when to back off...when there is not an interest to communicate. i am good at replying to emails too...like to keep the communication ongoing!
my friends would describe me as trustworthy, fun, funny, laid back/easy going, sincere, good listener and advice giver, reliable, dependable, uncomplicated, giving, fit/in shape, goofy and silly at times, an observer,and responsible.
i have never been married.the right one just has not found me yet! don't let the "long term" phrase be a deterrant. everything starts off as friends and getting to know each other. long term is just the end goal.i am ok with the bar scene but kind of over it. it would be nice to go out to one with someone:) just an FYI, i am not looking for an email pal or text pal (unless you are in another state). had a penpal back in the day and i am now too old for that! several days of emailing is fine (not just one liners either). by then you should have an idea whether or not you want to meet face to face or exchange phone numbers. i am one for phone time or face time! why waste precious time???? Also, if you are looking to sow your wild oats,or looking for perfection, move along!
i am looking for, someone who is not about games, honest, funny, loyal, takes care of their body, financially stable, confident (not arrogant), sarcastic to some degree, not dramatic, gentleman like,one with morals and values,enjoys the simple things in life, and a one-woman- man. Not really looking for a one night fling. i know i could be selling myself short but i will take the risk!

please have a pic, always nice to see who you are communicating with. that goes for IM too! i know it is a bit shallow but there has to be a little spark or "wow factor", you know! Plus, what are you hinding? i am not searching for a particular look, it is a combination of looks and personality.

I am notorious for just sending an email to say hi or to pass along a compliment if something in your profile strikes me. no hidden agenda. also, if i have had contact with you at one point, i may just shoot you a friendly email to say hello. again, no hidden agenda.

1st meeting: just going to a low key bar/restaurant for drinks/appetizers and have light conversation to get to know each other. second best would be meeting for a saturday/sunday run. date: miniature golf or a picnic would be fun when the weather is warm, or jet skiing as long as you do the "driving"!wine or beer tasting.
