I'm a grad-student in the geosciences. The short and sweet story is that I study earthquakes. I won't get any more into it than that, lest I bore you to tears. If you wanna know more I'll be happy to tell you.

I'm looking to meet a girl who doesn't take herself or her life too seriously. That's not to say I want you to be a disinterested layabout, but I'm not really attracted to the 16 hour workday workaholic type either. A great sense of humor is a must for me, if you can't find the humor in pretty much any situation I don't know how well we'd get along. Sarcastic, raunchy, goofy, it's all good as far as I'm concerned just so long as you can crack a joke.

I love to go to the movies, so I think that's a hobby I'd hope any match of mine would share as well. I also like to read, pretty much anything from biographies to classic literature. Sci-fi/Fantasy is my favorite though. What can I say? At heart I'm a pretty big dork.

I also like to keep things short and sweet, and having failed miserably at that here I'll shut up now.

I like to go to dinner or maybe a quiet coffee house or bar on first dates. Somewhere we can get some decent food something to drink, and have a nice conversation, but not be absolutely alone. I'm a little quiet at first when I get to know people, so the bustle of being someplace a little bit busy is nice.
