I love animals and nature. I’d prefer to walk in the woods, hike in the mountains and canyons, explore the desert, go boating, enjoy the beach and water, rather than attend a sporting event or be in crowds of people.
I live alone, have no children or close family.
I’m a quiet person who does not enjoy gossip or small talk. I have a great sense of humor but sometimes need help in not taking life too seriously.
I am down to earth, love life and am happy with mine. Weather permitting I am almost always found wearing shorts and a colorful shirt. I like all types of food and am a pretty fair cook. I enjoy dinning out and have enjoyed many of New Orleans fine restaurants as well as many of the ethnic restaurants. I particularly like Vietnamese and Thai food.Recently added The Jordon River Steamer as a favorite(if you havn't been there you should try it) I have traveled a great deal in this country and abroad including Hong Kong, China, Japan, Hawaii, Guam, England, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Honduras, the bay islands, and Niagara.
I love to read and in fact own a bookstore.
I also have a business where I Import goldfish and other ornamental fish from China and other countries in Asia, which I sell to people with ponds and aquariums. I invented a filtration system for ornamental fish ponds and a filtration system for aquariums. Both of which I market and sell in this business.
Since Katrina I opened a fence contracting company. My businesses are all located in New Orleans so I now commute.
My home in New Orleans was in the flood and I have moved to Picayune where I live on two and a half acres of beautifully landscaped, secluded property. Entering the property is like finding yourself in a tropical paradise with over a hundred palm trees of many species and an equal amount of stands of many species of bamboo. There are several ponds including a duck pond.
Dogs, cats, ducks, lots of fish, 3 businesses, I’m pretty busy.
