I am a game fanatic and love most anything that is competitive or challenging. Whether it is sports or board games such as scrabble or boggle, I'm always up for it. In the sports arena, I've taught tennis and also coached basketball and soccer on the grade school level. As much as I love playing sports, I'm not really into watching sports on tv or going to pro games. Maybe because I like kids, but I would much rather grab a sub and watch a local kids recreation league game. Aside from sports and games, I have a wide variety of interests, although I may not spend much time doing any particular one for a period of time. I love musicals, operas, museums, working around the house, an occasional movie, boating, and traveling to name a few. I am very spontaneous and creative and although I'm not into extreme sports such as helicopter skiing, I do love adventure and like trying new things. But my first love is working with kids and underprivileged families. So much so, I spend a couple weeks a year traveling to a third world country to help and open to some day being a missionary to such a place. Although I am a lot of fun, I am not into partying, drugs and rarely drink alcohol outside an occasional glass of wine. And I am not usually a big TV watcher. Aside from that, I am pretty normal and average, except that I am constantly looking for my wallet and keys. If you could put up with that, I'd love to hear from you.

Something that would allow interaction rather than seeing a movie and something more energetic than just having dinner, although dinner would be part of the date.
