This may not be the best way to meet someone, but it beats hanging out in bars or attending a singles scene, where everyone is a stranger. I've been on POF for several months now, but having made a career change in the last year, I haven't really put a lot of energy into dating. I think I'm pretty unique in some ways. I'm most often taken for being much younger than my years, not only in appearance but probably due to my sense of play. I absolutely love this part of the world and I make time to enjoy it. Fitness is very important to me, and although I'm not a fanatic about it,I am only interested in meeting someone who is of like mind. Music, too, is a passion of mine, and I love a wide range of styles. I've been painting with oils for the past couple of years, and I find it peacefully stimulating (occasionally frustrating) but it's good way to stay out of trouble. LOL I'm pretty much a casual kind of girl, although I do enjoy dressing up if there's a reason to. I'm very honest, compassionate, and sincere, but not always serious. I enjoy humor in others, (takes the edge off in an overstressed world), providing, of course, that it's not at the expense of others. I'm basically a happy, optimistic, warm hearted person.
