About Me
Hi, thanks for looking at my profile!

I'm Guy (not really), but you can call me Mister (please don't).

I'm 6 ft. 5 in. tall (5'9") and 225 lbs of pure unrestrained muscle (something like 150, ish, but I'm working on it!).

I can predict the future with a pair of cotton balls and a flip top lighter (well, I can tell when the people on Fox News are about to lie - hint, it'll be right after they inhale to speak - also, I'll soon burn my fingers, what with the amount of cotton between them and the flames diminishing...).

I drive a Ferrari F430 Spider (a nice reliable Japanese sedan) at 200 mph everywhere I go (no, I don't).

Ok, no, I never speed (outright lie).

I always tell the truth [in parenthesis, so talking to MrGC in person requires you to be on your toes at all times (wait, that's not true! this gimmick just turned on me!)].

I'm better at Pac-Man than anyone you know (kinda embarrassing actually, but true [Geek!]).

I am a tech guru and Bill Gates uses a closet in my office as his workspace, poor guy [more like MrGuyCabbewhatever works in a playpen with an Etch-A-Sketch (I have my own cubicle and two monitors - TWO!)].

Oh, I see, there's someone else talking smack about me in brackets now [screw you, buddy, you did this to yourself! (well, that's true, he's got a point there...)].

I single-handedly persuaded the good folks at the Oxford English Dictionary to include double contractions such as "shouldn't've" (for "should not have") and "wouldn't've" (for "would not have"). Pretty impressive, I know! I'm pressing for the inclusion of "he'll'n't" (he will not - wait, maybe that should be "he'lln't") in the next edition. Wish me luck! [Wtf? Srsly, Guy...]

I am not crazy [(?) pfft...].

A little about me and what I'm looking for:

Despite the nonsense above, I can be serious and logical.

Despite the sentence above, I can be playful and sentimental.

I put a high value on humor, creativity, intelligence and respect.

If you have the above qualities, I'm not likely to worry about personality quirks.

I like to stay in shape and am looking for someone who is in good enough shape to engage in moderately strenuous physical activities (maybe swimming, hiking, tennis, cycling, whatever else we might come up with - you don't have to be Barbie with barbells, though).

I love good books (not much into pulp fiction) and I write fiction myself when I have the time. (Btw, DFW was The Man!)

I selected "dating" as what I'm looking for because I realize it's unlikely any one person will lead to a long term relationship (which is what I eventually want), so you usually have to try to catch more than one fish (not at the same time), otherwise none of us would be here, right?

I'm the type of person who will sometimes actually listen to music while not doing anything else, just listening and enjoying, maybe even studying (or thinking, "wow, how did they think THIS was a good idea?!").

Not too long ago I was completely against the idea of having children. Maybe it's just because I'm older, I don't know, but my opinion on the matter seems to be in sway lately. I figured I probably shouldn't just swing right over to saying "Yes", though, since it's a recent development, thus "Undecided/Open".

Good luck finding your fish! There are a lot of good ones out there. Try something shiny as a lure. :) (Actually, I'm right here, but I do like shiny stuff)

First Date
I would teach you to read and speak Esperanto. [no, he wouldn't (exposed again! really, it'd just be us getting to know each other under casual circumstances)]

MrGuyCaballero has 2 roses that can be sent.
