Update: I've been a member for quite awhile now, and one thing I've learned is that although I might not meet the right gal romantically, friendship is also something to value in this life. I have made some wonderful friends here at POF.


The Toonster is slowly moving further along the brief timeline of his life on this planet.... hoping to find the right compatible female fellow traveler that would be "in toon" with his artsy & quirky ways.

I am looking for someone to laugh at all my bad jokes, cheer me up after I watch the nightly news, gives great backrubs and wants to travel once in a great while. (mostly to theme parks) :)

Speaking of traveling....a quick tale.

I recently took my young daughter to Disneyland. We were riding those little cars in Autotopia and another little kid who was driving by, excitedly waved at us. My daughter smiled, and then she waved back with her middle finger extended. I was shocked. I asked why she did that and she said "Oh, it's okay, that's what Mommy does when she drives."

Things looking for in a Woman: Honesty, integrity, compassion, (Sense Of Humor a must!) Female Parts.

Things not looking for in a Woman: To be taken humorously please!

Women who like guns...(eek!) Women who love to talk about past relationships..(a real turn-off) Women who spit and curse. Women strong enough to beat me up. Women who come prepared with prenuptuals on the first date. Women who post pictures of themselves where its obviously torn in half and was a pic with former partner. Women who think Star Trek is real. Women who think they can change me into what they want.(Not gonna happen) Women who think I would make a good provider. HAHAHAHA (phew, good one) Women who used to be men. Women with hairy lips. Women who break out into crazed high pitched laughter for no reason. Women who think buffalo wings are actually made from buffalo. Women who don't like kids. Women who own pit bulls. Women already in relationships who think its okay to sleep with others since its just sex, not love. Women who are taller than me.

My Strengths: Sensitive, caring and compassionate. I listen.

My Weaknesses: Sensitive, sometimes I don't listen.


My goals and aspirations have changed a bit since going back to school. (I felt odd about that after so many years) I found that I did not feel so out of place as the economy has had quite an impact and many are going back to school. (Very cool!) I went back to see if I could regain the passion for writing and finish a novel that I've been working on... only to find a long dormant idea reawaken. I always wanted to make films. (I want to direct!)

Now I am writing a screenplay called The Forgotten - Armistice Day 1919 and the plan is to produce it as an actual independent film. I am really enjoying this period in my life. College is great to find minds discussing intriguing ideas and explorations of new perspectives.

If anyone reading this is thinking about taking a class, do it! You won't have any regrets and you will find people with similar interests. Great way to network and make new friends!






This is a personal favorite post of mine that sums up my belief on my own personality.

"I still have the eyes and soul of the youngster I once was, still traveling with this body that will eventually grow old and die, but my spirit is young and forever will be, regardless of how I look physically. Still a boy? yes, still a boy...wise beyond his years."

After the background check and pysch evaluation comes back stating "ALL CLEAR" ....

A nice dinner somewhere quiet and a place to walk and talk
Then, if all goes well.... discussion on where to go for the second date! (I am just an old fashioned type of guy)

Conversations about books, computers, art, and making movies and entertainment hit home with me.
