My frustration along with everyone else on this site seems to be communication. Why is it that people lie and cheat? I want someone who can talk things over and not just be silent (this doesn't seem to exist). I don't do head games or emotional games, I expect the same of you. I am just going to talk to my friends, the new ones that I made and read the forums. I wish you all luck.

For those of you who keep asking why I show up in NY matches... I go back often and was talking to a friend there. Now I seem to show up in NY.

I am an intelligent, honest woman. I am college educated (Degree in Com Sci and minors in math and physics ..yes, I am a nerd) and I am also very, very shy but once you get to know me...my sense of humor shines through. I come with a warning label for sarcasm but I pick on myself just as much. Some consider me attractive but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I believe there should be something that attracts me to the other person (whether it be smile, eyes, etc), however I don't need someone who just walked off the cover of a magazine. I prefer substance as much as someone I am attracted to. I also prefer quality over quantity. I would like to find someone who is honest, intelligent and has a sense of humor (if they don't mind that I am a big mushy romantic who wears my heart on my sleeve, that is a bonus). I love to make people laugh and I would like someone who will laugh with me even when I am being silly. When I mean laugh, I mean I usually have the person laughing so hard their cheeks hurt and they feel the laughter down to their toes. I am the proud mother of two girls. They are my world. If you don't like kids, this would be the time to move on.

I like to go to the beach for walks, jet skiing, and fishing (can you bait my hook?). I love to read, cuddle and enjoy time out doing whatever we feel like doing for the day. I like to go out every once in a while and see a show or concert. I will even go bowling, putt putt or go shoot some pool (be prepared to run the table). I also love music. There is always music somewhere around me. I listen to just about everything...classical, jazz, r&b, hip hop, dance, techno, house, blues, top 40, country, etc...i told you i listen to everything. I go to the gym Monday through Friday and it would be great to have a partner to push me. I love sushi, foofy drinks (ie. pina coladas, flavored martinis, mojitos etc) along with great company (could that be you?) and great conversation. I am not a big drinker so I tend to only have one or two. I love to be comfortable in jeans, tshirt and baseball cap but if need be, I clean up well. I know how to act accordingly depending on the situation and hope for someone who will be the same. I don't mind if someone has different interests because I love to learn new things. If you can open my eyes to something new and interesting, all the better. Oh and I love dogs...cats are nice too but I am allergic...so i would have to get allergy medicine. lol. I do not like drama as do most people. I understand that into lives a little drama does unfold, however; please do not be the type seeking drama of your own making. Thank you ;)

Basically, I am looking for my best friend, partner in crime and the person that makes me look forward to seeing them every day even if no words are exchanged.

This description sounds too stiff and does not really say all that it should....so ask me a question and I will respond.I came on this site because a friend of mine suggested it since I am very shy. She thought it would relax me to get to know someone before meeting them. That and the fact that I don't really go out. If I go out, it is to a book store or something like that. I am not a big party, club scene kind of person. I like to go to a club/bar every now and then but it is a rarity. It is more suited to have fun with friends then to meet someone.

I would like an honest, intelligent, funny, fun, caring man. If you do not have a sense of humor, please move on. Sense of humor is key for me. Here fishy fishy fishy......

Also, I didn't think it would need to be said but if you are a liar, cheater, player, mean spirited kind of person, please don't write me. Also, I do not appreciate people who would walk all over me. Please note that if you live at home with mom, are an alcoholic, have a parole officer (and the theme song of cops plays), have no license, childish like prank calling, leaving messages about "all the other women" but don't remember because you were drunk, please move on. No apology necessary...just don't want someone like that in my life or my children's lives. Also, please be more exciting to talk to than a ball of lint. I don't need a Yes Man but I do need someone who can hold a conversation.
