I am a pretty easy going guy, a good listener, good sense of humor and open minded. I know how to treat a lady, down to still opening a door for one, being respectful, and understanding. I have a lot of interest ranging from art and music to swimming, nature, and sports. I enjoy playing video games and would like to find someone who shares that or at least does not mind I play.
I'm a romantic at heart. Enjoying simple things like a starry evening or a rain shower, a bit sappy I suppose but I think its romantic. I'm a cat person, dogs are alright but I like to be able to give them back. Also I have strong family values, I inspire to be a dad one day if I ever find the right person, though here I am looking just for something casual and see where the twisting path of life goes.
That being said on what I am looking for, as I just stated something casual to get to know some people, I don't like to close off any options as one never knows where they might just find that special someone. Happy to explore a budding friendship or something more if the spark is there. I'm very honest and don't beat around the bush. Communication is important just as much as trust is. That is not to say I'm some overly blunt ogre by any means, I'm compassionate. An equally open minded person is preferred and an enjoyment of video games a big plus. I am not a drinker nor smoker, not really interested in the party lifestyle, though that doesn't mean I don't enjoy having a good time or going out. I'd prefer someone looking for a relationship to be like minded in that regard.

Getting together for a dinner and then go see a movie, some place social and no real pressure. Just a chance to get to know one another in person, also to do something the girl has a interest in. I'm not closed minded enough to not try something at least once.
