.... I am a designer/artist and retired Art professor (ancient but with a young heart)
I have a good sense of humour. I was divorced from my wife 7 years ago.
We were married for 15 years. She was from HK and her age is now 47) and
we have a very intelligent and artistic son Ionas (24) who lives
with his girlfriend in Toronto. My daughter Cora (37, now living as an artist in Paris)
was from my first marriage to a German woman) I am Christian. I was born
into an old aristocratic German family. I am not wealthy but live quite
comfortably. I don't smoke and drink only socially. I am 177 cm tall, weigh
106 kg. Blue goilo eyes, blond/grey hair (lots of it!) But I don't have
any hair on my body (hmm,-sorry!). I love Chinese culture -I love music and art. I admire Chinese medicine.

I Live in a wonderful part of Ontario, Canada, 2 hour's drive Northwest of Toronto
I produce art on my Macintosh computer and love watercolour painting.

On my recent trip to HK (2001) where I gave 6 lectures at the HK Cultural Centre. in Jan, 2006 I returned from a 4 month stay in China where I gave 15 workshops on Waldorf Education (Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Chengdu, Shanghai and, again in Hong Kong).
It would be wonderful if you enjoy to prepare Chinese Vietnamese or Thai dishes.
Perhaps you like to paint, play (and teach me) the Erhu, Dizi or any other musical
instrument, (I play the recorder,- a simple flute) Perhaps you sing, like gardening or,
at least have an interest in the arts. You hopefully value the life experience and insights
of an older person who is a wide eyed old boy, interested in and intensely
curious about the wonderful secrets that the world (and her beautiful creatures) hold..

For far-away locations we should get to know each other better by exchanging a lot of e-mails and pictures (of ourselves our families and our living environment). Hey, we have to become friends first !
