I guess I'll start with a little about me...... I'm extremely communicative - I tend to say exactly what's on my mind - and strongly believe that open and honest communication is essential to a healthy relationship. I guess related to this, is the fact that I'm extremely honest. I find popular culture to be fascinating, so I love movies and I'm not embarrassed to admit that I like to spend some of my time watching TV (if you’re a “kill your television” person, that may be a problem ;-). But I work out almost daily, so I’m definitely not a couch potato. I can be pretty mellow sometimes and have also been described as being "quirky" since I have some idiosyncrasies (I'm a musician though, what do you expect?!). At the same time, I have a good head on my shoulders and am very straight up and real. For fun, I like to ride my motorcycle (the most fun you can have with your clothes on!). I also like to travel (I've been to about 15-20 different countries). I'm a multi-instrumentalist/songwriter and am hugely into music - creating it and listening to it. I’ve been a private investigator since shortly after I graduated from Chico State back in 1996 and started my own investigation company over 5 years ago. I'm pretty intellectual and love conversations about politics, religion and all things profound. I've found that a lot of people need games to maintain interest, but as far as I'm concerned games are a ridiculous waste of time...never played them and never will. If you're into games, then save us both some time and look elsewhere. I've found that I tend to be attracted to women that are warm, loving, affectionate, sweet, positive and sincere.

P.S. I have to be honest…..I don’t think the internet is necessarily the best way to meet the love of your life, but the reality is that I’m DEFINITELY not going to meet her sitting in my van doing surveillance, or taking statements from crack heads in Oak Park, so I figure I might as well give the internet thing a try.

I've found that keeping it simple and meeting at a coffee shop is a good first date when meeting somebody online, since they're not always what you'd expect. If that goes well and there seems to be some potential, I'm up for moving onto bigger and better things.
