Back to the basics…..

To be honest, this hasn’t exactly been going my way….I laugh…cuz that’s pretty much my life summed up…..I never take the easy road…prefer to take the road less traveled…and Lord help those who have given me good, solid advice on what roads NOT to take…I am just one of those that needs to see it for myself….ya know, experience it in my own way….and becuz of that I have no regrets….each road has led to different experiences and each experience has made me who I am today…

Care to know who that is? Well, then….continue on……

ME: Been down far too many roads, paths, trails, seen many things, grew up to the beat of my own drum. And now, here I am, ready to go down the remaining roads, paths and trails with someone by my side – you know, my friend, my confidante, my hero and knight, my sporty mate, my tall glass of water, my sarcastic match, my compassionate man, my partner in crime and lover in bed (or floor, or kitchen, or yard, or beach, or elevator, or car, or against the wall ….ooops - …Carry on.) . I am so many things – it really boils down to the weather. Haha. I choose to live in the now, but I certainly have dreams for the future. I believe the moment is all that is ever real, all that we can ever trust in…therefore, the moment is all that I can live in. No feeling can ever be re-felt to the exact depth of that initial feeling. I love most moments…except the one where I had my leg run over …or when I caught a barbed hook with my thumb (hence the name Flyfingers) or when my dog died or my cat or my other cat or my other cat…(been through a few cats), well, you get the picture.

I am a little bit of everything all rolled up into one…I am witty, versatile, athletic, sarcastic, polite, courteous, resilient, happy, independent, mysterious, sexual, compassionate, down to earth…..and…..REAL! I have no enemies, I am a definite people person and one of the greatest compliments I’ve ever been given (a few times) was that I glow and becuz of this people want to be around me….awwww, I’m so sweet….don’t get me wrong, boys…..I may sound sweet and innocent, but I am definitely a firecracker!

Just looking for someone to curl up with under the stars, to play with in the afternoon sun, to lounge with on a cold day, to chase down a mesmerizing lightning storm, to travel the world and see it through your eyes, to discuss the infinite possibilities, to kiss just becuz I can, to hold becuz I’m scared, to laugh at when you fall down….hahaha….I probably will, but I will also be the first to put out my hand, to kick your butt in sports, to have a wonderfully challenging debate about ….mayo versus miracle whip….I don’t care…..Basically, I want it all…with the right person…..and I will never settle.

I have my own home (in the process of selling), a car, a job I love, a dog, a big yard, parents who have been together for 48 years, 4 sisters I adore, all of whom have found their significant others and are wonderfully happy, 3 AMAZING friends – my girls – who have been there for me since childhood, I’m pretty darn happy, just missing YOU….are you here, there, anywhere?
