I am retired and do volunteer work as a consumer advocate and really enjoy helping people with their issues & problems with businesses, fraud artists, scammers and whatever else they are seeking help for. I enjoy most outdoor activities although must admit that age is beginning to punish me with a few aches & pains when I over-do it. Some of the things I enjoy doing include working on projects around the house, playing on my PC, staying in touch/getting together with friends, going out to dinner, dancing, attending some of the community festivities, working on my hobbies, fishing, traveling and I am usually up for trying something new.
I recently purchased a lake house/cabin and now spend much of my time there working on it or just relaxing on the deck looking at the lake or taking the boat out for a cruise with my fishing pole in hand in case a fish would like to join me for dinner. I have a good sense of humor and enjoy sharing fun things with my friends via e-mail. I am most relaxed when I am doing something but would like to find that special someone to be my companion.

I want someone who is intelligent, attractive, interesting, that has a passion for life and likes to laugh.

I would like to start out and build a friendship and see what happens from there. I want someone who enjoys the 4 seasons. There are things to do and places to go no matter what the weather. During the warmer months you will find me at the lake or taking a walk or day trip to an interesting place. I want someone who is comfortable kicking back in the winter watching the fireplace while munching on some popcorn and drinking a glass of wine. We could be watching a movie, listening to some music or just enjoying each others company.
I want friendship, compatibility, loyalty, a few sparks, a smile in my mind when I think of you, a few more sparks and more. To me, an ideal relationship is one that includes respect, trust and security on an emotional and mental level with a solid physical relationship.
