I think this talking about yourself business is the most difficult part of this whole meeting people over the internet process... How do you manage to describe your accomplishments without sounding conceited, but also being complementary about yourself?

I guess my biggest accomplishment was winning the world series of poker holding nothing but a joker, the three of spades, a get out of jail free monopoly card, the two of hearts, and a green number two card from the game Uno. I guess you could say I have a great poker face :-)

Seriously though, in a nutshell, I am intelligent, active, successful, in shape, educated, and very happy with where my life has taken me thus far. I graduated from college about ten years ago and have spent a lot of the time since focusing on my career. That focus and commitment allowed me to start my own company about three years ago. It has been a positive experience for the most part, but working from home doesn't exactly make meeting potential dates terribly easy.

Many people over the years have told me that they remember me for my sense of humor which ranges from witty, sarcastic, and dry to dirty and raunchy - American Pie and Superbad are two of my favorite movies. I've always believed that the secret of life is to go through as much of it as possible with a smile on your face. I like to think that I have an appropriate mixture of seriousness and sillyness and act appropriate for the situation at hand.

In my spare time, I enjoy snowboarding, playing soccer, camping, cooking, riding motorcycles, road trips, video games, going to the gym, and I am about 95% finished with a complete restoration of my beloved 1965 Mustang - what an experience that has been...

I guess I would have to say that I am looking for my equal when it comes to the dating world. I would like to meet someone who has also experienced college, is successful in their career, has a wicked sense of humor (including the ability to laugh at themselves), is financially responsible, and is looking for a dating relationship that could eventually lead to something serious.

It would also be nice if you have a good relationship with your family and are an animal lover, as I am pretty close to my family and have two crazy labs.

While I enjoy time spent with my partner, I am a pretty independent person and do on occasion like my alone time, or time with the guys. It would be nice to meet someone who understands, appreciates, and agrees with that philosophy in a relationship. It is always great to date someone who shares some of your hobbies, but also has interests and hobbies of her own that she can spend her alone time or time with her friends on. I am a firm believer that couples should not spend every minute of their free time together.

Conversation over coffee or lunch. Someplace where we can talk and get to know each other. If this goes well, we can discuss our next stop and activity - frisbee in the park, going for a bike ride, checking out a museum, etc.
