| | What I'm looking for is a perfect (in my eyes anyway) companion to go through life and share those special moments with. I don't play the twisted head games that seem to be the norm around here....getting way to old for games (unless you want to play monopoly or a hand of euchre then count me in). I guess you could say that I'm old fashioned (might be true to some extent) but I believe that honesty in a relationship is the best policy. If you don't really mean what you say then why bother wasting your breath saying anything in the first place. I'm not really into the whole club and bar scene since I'm not a drinker.....unless you count Mt Dew and Pepsi. Since it's tough to find (anyway I haven't yet) your soulmate in isle #6 of the local grocery store my search for the ever elusive "one" has been a real challenge to say the least.
My hobbies include everything from flying airplanes, (the remote control kind  ) woodworking...hey I like to build tings, goofing off (that's classified as a hobby isn't it?), weekend vacations, working in the yard (not really a hobby but it needs done none the less), internet junkie (ebay is addicting) and motorcycles.
During the summer months I like doing anything outdoors from a walk in the park to just taking the jeep out for an afternoon scenic drive in the country just to get away for a while. I also like to spend some of my spare time riding my motorcycle along the maumee river. You've got to love 424...napoleon to defiance and 65 north... grand rapids to waterville for the twisty sections....ok ok it's not the same at the smoky mountian area (my favorite place to take vacations) but it's the best I can do for a local afternoon ride. I do enjoy taking the occasional weekend trips to the smoky mountain area just to get away from home and all the hustle and bustle of everyday life....who doesn't like that.
I also enjoy having the occasional BBQ (yes believe it or not I can actually cook) in the backyard with family and friends. Yes my family and friends are important to me. I know I can always count on them if I ever need anything and they know that I'll be there if they need something in return. Isn't that what family and good friends are all about anyway.
I guess you might say all that's really missing in my life right now is that special someone to share all the great moments in life with. Could it be you?

First dates can be a challenge. A good first date can be anything from a high stakes (ok maybe not high stakes) game of putt-putt golf to the standard dinner or lunch date. Bowling can make for a good first date....neither have to be a pro bowler to have a good time. I suck at bowling (I'm sure you'll get a good laugh) but still enjoy going every now and then. Movies in my opinion make for a terrible first date. How can you get to know someone you just met when you share an hour and a half together at a theater and can't even chat. |
