I never know what to put on these things. I’m sure I come off as far too serious. I’m a complex person and I can’t be summed up by this little box. I'm not that serious though and I'm always trying to put a smile on the faces of those around me.

I’ve been told that I’m a free spirit and I suppose that is true to the extent that I like to try new things and explore the world around me. It could also be said that I can be responsible to those necessities of being an adult.

Not a native of the North East, I grew up in a place where camping, horseback riding, and wide open spaces were the norm. But I needed more so I left looking for a little adventure and ended up here.

I’m definitely a city person, I’m big on urban exploration.

Everyone has a first date,
And the object is to hide your flaws,
Then you’re in a relationship,
And it’s all about hiding your disappointment,
Then once you’re married,
It’s about hiding your sins. . . . . . .

I’m not looking for that.

I’m at that point where I’m looking to be with someone I can be myself around. Make no mistake, I’m not desperate and I would much rather prefer to be single than with someone I don’t feel I connect with.

Ultimately though, I believe that you can’t just have this schema in your mind of what love is going to be and expect the world to comply with it. Isn’t that really where the fun begins?

On a first date I prefer coffee/tea/drinks and good conversation. I try to keep it low key and make it a get to know you sort of endeavor. If we hit it off nothing says we can’t go out and find something more exciting to do.

The good dates tend to come after both parties know each other a little.
