About Me
From the essays that I have read we can all put our best foot forward on this thing, say what we are looking for and that we will not settle for less and that’s probably why we are here. I believe that some may seek perfection that would be nice. We can keep our guards up for the wrongs that we experienced in the past, risking the passing of the person who might actually be compatible. Relationships are not meant to be perfect... some rain must fall before the flowers will grow, communication is important but not always the key to a successful relationship. The key is actually, honesty and patience and tolerance of those little imperfections that everyone has, tries to hide but eventually come to surface. Let's face it who are you going to get to truly know until you live together am I right?. So lets be honest and sincere.
My quest is to meet new friends with the potential of long term, share smiles, jokes & different perspectives, learn about others and if by chance find that special someone along the journey then this was all well worth the chance.
About me; I am a former Texas Peace Officer, if it makes a difference one way or another, and my ethics and morals are high. Tell the truth because its the right thing to do, be faithful because its the right thing to do. I am mature, stable, but a little on the wild side, romantic, affectionate, sensitive and have a flair for writing poetry and am working on my first publishing.... Photos are current, seem a little rough around the edges but I am a intelligent, cultured...but I am a man, actually a gentleman, old fashioned ways, manners, reared my two daughters who are now grown and have families on their own. I am an excellent cook both indoors and outdoors. I have traveled, Europe, cruises and else where. "Can take the cruises or leave them." I dance and sing, have an entertainment business as a sideline, the class clown with my sense of humor. I really like to ride (traded the bull horns for the steel ones) a must is finding a lady who enjoys riding also, and if you dare its okay if the lady to make the first move, it's 2008....
