Romance is the glamour which turns the dust of everyday life into a golden haze ??..I should elaborate on why I value kindness. It's not that I'm looking for someone who will be kind to me(although that's always nice). I can't date someone who is really nice and sweet to me but then when we go to a restaurant they treat the server like garbage - or the gardener, cashier, etc... I'm not really into people who are only nice to those who they consider worthy. I have more respect for someone who's mean and doesn't sugar coat it.

I'm a low maintenance guy with little or no expectations when it comes to dating. I like meeting a lot of new people. Making a new friend is as good as, and sometimes better than, becoming romantically involved. If I go on a date with someone and we have fun, it was worth my time - even if there was no chemistry and there won't be a second date. If I have a life philosophy it's that I can learn something from every person I ever meet, if I'm willing to be open minded.

P.S. I didn't lie about my age on the off chance that I might meet someone special, and I don't want to start out as a liar.
