I was raised in a European household. While it was traditional in many respects, it was still quite progressive in others. Having said that, I feel that it definitely gave me the best of both worlds.

I am the middle of 5 children. Having 4 strong female influences helping guide me through life certainly gave me a very keen insight into the mind of a woman, therefore, my respect for women is never in question.

Don’t let the serious tone of the profile throw you off. I know when to be serious and when to let the humor out. I am damn funny, straight up. I have been described as down-to-earth, Intelligent, Passionate, Intense, both an idealist and a rationalist.

I have a broad range of hobbies and Interests and consider myself a great conversationalist. I do not think I know everything, I realize that one man does not have all the answers and that there is much to learn from any person. As soon as I immerse myself in a new subject, it seems that the more I learn the less I feel I truly know.

My free time is rare, and for me to enter some ones world and allow them into mine I have to be 100 percent sure that this is the type of person I can see down the road through thick and thin. Obviously these people are rare and hard to come by. I am not into games, never have been. Life is so short, I value and respect my time, just as I respect the time of others. That being said, I believe that communication is so vital to any relationship. I know you ladies analyze things over and over at times, wondering, what did he mean, or, how does he feel. That’s never really an issue with me. I am emotionally secure and stable. I have no problem expressing myself, and do enjoy it.

I see education as a lifelong pursuit. I love traveling and have seen a very large portion of the planet so far. Love to spend summers strolling foreign cities, immersing myself in a different culture and experiencing a life that is completely foreign to me. The spot, well, Croatia, the Dalmatian coast is always where my heart will be, but, the south of France and Italy are FANTASTIC as well.

I should state that although I am no longer the artist I once was (A long time ago, long, long time ago), art continues to have a central role in my life. I am sure that all the other creative souls out there would agree. It’s a state of mind that is always with you, I appreciate all facets of art and the creative process.

I treat my body like a temple. I work out 6 days a week and am at the gym for nearly 2 hrs a day. I am not one of those people who will be counting all their calories. Life is all about moderation. I wont tell you how you should eat or if and how you should work out. To each his own I always say, as long as your not hurting anyone else then your decisions are your own.

I do LOVE my sports, and my obsession with European Football (Soccer) is bordering on something that may not be too healthy. That’s according to my therapist anyways, what the hell does he know? Okay, kidding, no therapist. But Yeah, die hard soccer fan. I just spent the first part of 2009 backpacking through Europe just visiting family, checking out the sites, and, following my favorite soccer teams in Italy, Croatia, France and Germany. So, if you don’t mind traveling to Europe every now and then to take in some football then we would be okay together. Love to play Basketball and soccer when time and weather are accommodating. If I had access to a pool I would be swimming every day.

All forms of music (Underground Hip Hop or hip hop from 1994 or younger, before it sold its soul to Corporate America for Money, R & B, Drum n Bass, Classic Rock, Classical and Alternative as of late) play a large part of my life, as well as other forms of art such as Film (Foreign) and Literature (Business related, Political and Philosophical). I watch far too much Family Guy, Simpson’s re-runs (the old classics) as well as Seinfeld, am developing a addiction to both the writings and lectures/speeches of Noam Chomsky that like my love for soccer may be bordering on the insane.

What do I seek? A woman that cannot be defined in a small little box, she couldn’t be defined on the spot, and there are not enough words in the English Language to describe her. She is very open minded, thinks out of the box, Plays the game by the rules that she sees fit, and is not afraid to speak her mind. A great conversationalist is always welcome, as well as a Creative spirit. To find a woman that you could lose the entire night to just talking and losing track of the time because you are just having so much fun exploring each others minds would be a great experience. A woman that will stand up for herself and anyone else she cares about if she sees that they are being mistreated. Sarcastic and witty women are most appreciated.

Do you have to be a Brasilian Super Model? No! Do you have to have your PhD in Political Philosophy? No! That would be freaking cool though, maybe a Biblical scholar. I just really want a down-to-earth, good person, with things in life they are passionate about, someone intense would be amazing. I don’t care if your passion is collecting stamps, just show me why you love what you love, with some passion of course and its all good.

Ideally I would hope for a Relationship, but I always welcome a great friendship, it seems so difficult to find anyone with substance these days so I wont rule out anything.
