Hi there, My name is Melanie I was a single mom, raised 3 kids and a dog, now the kdis are gone, the dog didn't leave yet so I'm trying to figure out how to do the single life again..lol. it's exciting exploring this new life of mine, and finding out what I do and do not like for myself.
I enjoy movies usually comedies and dramas, enjoy cooking out on holidays with family/friends, although i usually "allow" someone else to do the grilling..lol, I like preparing the other food and getting ready for the cookout. ok i will admit it, I can't grill ok. It's probably a good idea not to even let me near the grill. I also enjoy hanging out at Starbucks drinking coffee and talking about whatever or just looking at magazines or reading.
The most important thing to me is my family, my 3 kids and 2 grand-daughters the joys of my life! I cherish every moment with them, being with my family is when I'm most at home. And then there is my dog, who has been with me thru thick and thin. I hope whomever I meet loves dogs, that would be a biggie. UPDATE:...that part makes me laugh,,it's so not me anymore...but it sounded kinda noble don't ya think? yeah yeah...whatever dude. yes i love my family dearly, but i've done the whole devoted parent thing, it's getting old.
The man I would like to meet would be compassionate, have a wonderful cooky, corky, silly sense of humor who doesn't take himself to serious and can laugh at himself. He would understand life comes with baggage, and that baggage has made us who we are today, good with the bad and we can laugh at it.
I enjoy romancing each other with food,drink,music flowers, little notes or just short phone calls to just hi, I want life's passion back, i want to bring life's passion into someone's life too.
