I am an easy-going, kind, and considerate guy, with a good sense of humor, and am a good listener. I enjoy being active, getting out and doing things but I also enjoy time at home, watching a good movie, sporting event, or just reading (especially since I got my Kindle).

If you don’t find me at a Toastmasters meeting, I may be at a movie, or jogging for a 5k run (I’m not ‘model” material, but I try to stay in decent shape). Or, I will be exploring the First Coast, at a nice restaurant, the theatre (I loved WICKED and SPAMALOT) or concert, the Space Center, or a museum. (Sorry - I am not much into camping, fishing, motorcycles or much of anything in the snow.) I have seen a lot since I moved here from Texas three years ago, but find them much more memorable with a good companion. Do you want to join me?

I have been fortunate (blessed?) to have good health, good friends and a great family. Jax is a great place, but I do miss my two wonderful daughters (and granddaughter) who moved away last year.

I have met many nice people going “fishing” or “matching,” but I want a lasting relationship. I know pictures are important “first impressions.” I especially notice someone who likes to smile, stays in good shape, is confident and easy-going, but still curious about life.

If you are interested in adding some romance, smiles, excitement to your life with a nice guy, let's talk. If you want someone with more hair, sorry - the halo burned it off. (lol)

Since many of you like a good quote, I will give you one powerful one that I think is appropriate for this site:

James Greenleaf Whittier said,

"Of all the words of tongue and pen, the saddest is these: It might have been."

Let's remove a few of those "might have beens."
