Honestly, who does things for Pete’s sake or for the love of Pete? I have never actually met one woman who even knew the proverbial Pete. If you know anyone looking for that Pete I cannot help you, but George, now that is a different matter.

Who is George? Good question! And for your sake, should you or shouldn’t you get acquainted with him -- for the love of you and for the love of him!

George says: “I enjoy connecting to what has her come alive. I love to see her light up. I am looking for that kind of relationship, where we build each other up and just can’t get enough of each other. How about you?”

I find a strict sense of humor is essential for that. To care and be honest is very important too! With the right person dreams can and do come true, and then I can’t wait to be affectionate. So I am not for everyone, just for her!

For the long term we also need a shared purpose. We need to see eye to eye on what matters, if we want to be happy and have it last. For that reason you may want to know a little more about George up front:

My singular focus in life is spirituality. By that I don’t mean the dogma of religion. I am referring to the intensive study and pursuit of the qualities of the spirit. Honesty, truth, love, and wisdom are some examples of those qualities. In that I know who I am, what I am here for, and where I am going. The love of my life will understand that, respect it, and be supportive of it. She could also be called spiritual, because she too chooses to live and share life at great depth.

Some friends want to call me an eccentric intellectual. They say this as a compliment and I thank them. Although I admit I relish good conversation, more important than intellect for me is what is in your heart.

I love children and our little friends, although I have no children of my own and have never been married. I will say with a smile, that solitude has great value too -- silence. My dog Lucy went on to the other side a couple of years ago and I have been free of such responsibility since. It is gut wrenching to loose an animal as anyone, who has ever been through it, knows. Lucy was (is) very special.

I am of German descent and moved with my parents to America in my late teens.

I read voraciously and am a writer/author. I work in my own business as a healer, massage therapist, and life coach. In the past I was a computer programmer and technical editor, to name a few of my occupations.

My hobbies include hiking, camping, bicycling, healing martial arts, music, (professional) photography, and movie watching as well as (professional) movie making. Whatever you and I would find pleasurable (and sane) to do together has my interest.

Lastly, in regards to our place in the world, I should perhaps let you know, that I co-founded community and currently seek community (not commune) for intentional living and future well-being (…Where is your garden?).
