Hi, I moved to Indianapolis a year ago and enjoy the area. I currently work quite a bit as I have appointments to two different universities, but I find myself more and more desiring a personal life. I'm at the stage of my life that I know what I want out of it and I am striving toward it. I love what I do for a living and while I am career orientated, I also want someone to enjoy it with. I am long past my part days and while I am not averse to having a beer in a pub or watching the game in a sports bar, I am not into the club scene. I have been divorced over seven years and have a drama-free relationship with my ex. I am lucky enough to have two wonderful children who mean the world to me.
I love live music. I am mainly into alt country and other music typically not played on the radio. The best live shows I have seen have been by Drive-By Truckers, Cross Canadian Ragweed and Robert Earl Keen.
The hardest part of an ad like this is describing what you are seeking. While I am seeking an intelligent woman, I also know that education does not necessarily equate with intelligence. An upbeat personality is important, as is a smile that can uplift me by its very sight. I want a partner, someone to share the wild roller coaster that is life. I know you don't want to settle and neither do I. As I get closer to 40, I realize who I am and what I want, and that I am a very happy person. The nice thing about getting older is you realize that you can be yourself, you don't have to follow popular trends or music.

As I am still relatively new in Indiana, I would be open to any suggestion. In the fall, I love college football and attended the University of Alabama for grad school and have become a fanatic. (Roll Tide!!) I love to explore the outdoors. I hope to start biking more and pick up hiking again.
