Hello: I am hoping to find a great gentleman who is honest, kind and full of life. Healthy and wise doesn't hurt either, and of course a sense of humour can make any day better. Please be truthful, I have.

I enjoy the great outdoors, spend a lot of time in my garden; curl and ski in winter; and many other activities. I do not sit waiting for the world to come to me. I am involved in several organizations as a volunteer and I enjoy meeting people. I have done a little traveling and expect to do more, Ireland could be next!

Love to dress up to go out (gives me a chance to wear heels!) but casual is good too. Having someone to dress for would make every day special.

I am an avid reader, music is always important, going to concerts, other musical events,(bagpipes if you can stand them) dancing, and just having a good time.

Although I have not had the opportunity to attend college or university, I have taken opportunities as they were presented and enriched my life by attending courses on a great variety of topics and learning on the go! Life is also a very good teacher, learning to deal with the hand you have been dealt takes skill, compassion and ingenuity.
I am a very healthy, happy person, never bored, light social drinker,(a glass of wine with a good meal or an evening treat.) I enjoy many different types of food, including Thai, Chinese, Italian and of course good comfort food.

My family is special, but I look forward to you becoming an important part of my life! You could be a bit of a rascal, a little earthy, not to mention sexy just because we are older doesn't mean we should have to do without some of the best things life has to offer!,) easy on the eyes, and an all round great classy guy! Someone to laugh with over the everyday fun things that happen, laughter shared is special.

I don't know whether to check off "Long Term," Dating," or "Friends," seems they are all part of the process, in this day and age what do any of us call long term??! A sincere and dependable friend could be part of this ever changing process. Exploring interesting and different ideas on how to spend time together, just might be the way to go! Of course all this includes a little romance, taking time to smell the roses and appreciating the gentler side of life.

I have been a widow for some time and certainly miss the closeness, conversations and all the other good things great couples share. You will bring new and different activities and ideas to our relationship; making our lives together interesting and just more fun!

A first meeting would be the result of an exchange of ideas, finding a place or activity that is fun for both of us. Coffee in a corner nook (not Timmies), where we could see the water, or something equally interesting, just going for a walk in the city, that way you can bump into one another and blame it on the pavement, searching the market for something you think you need just to prolong the walk, whatever works, rain or shine!
