my thoughts on a first date would be to preferably meet in a public place or resturant for a nice meal and conversation getting to know one another. then if things were going well I'd offer to take you to a movie or perhaps a drink or casual walk somewhere. if a movie we could see anything you wanted and then afterwards go for a drink to continue getting to know one another. after a drink or two we'd return to our meeting place so that we could go our seperate ways and go home. before you left I'd offer my number for you to call me if you wanted to go out again.
