I've been divorced for several years and raising my kids. They're teenagers now, and I guess it's time for a social life of my own. Family and friends are very important to me, and I enjoy gatherings and bar-b-ques. I have a job I love. Overall, I have a pretty good life and miss having someone special to share it with.

I like the outdoors....camping, long walks, the beach; but I'm equally happy at home, sewing or reading. I enjoy exploring new places and can spend hours in a book store. I enjoy movies, museums, sporting events, and music. I'm pretty open to new experiences and adventures. Character wise...I'm honest, loyal, caring, affectionate and have been known to be too trusting. I'm getting better at that, but don't want to lose my faith in people's essential goodness.

Who am I looking for? Someone nice, honest and sincere. It really helps if you like to talk....because I don't want to have to carry the whole conversation. I guess I don't really have a specific type of person in mind; I just hope to find someone with a good character...and a sense of humor.

Meet for lunch, dinner, coffee, a movie, bowling, a long walk. Whatever we both feel would make us the most comfortable. Sometimes food and conversation works great....other times finding an activity we'll both enjoy can be an easier way to get to know one another.
