Yeah... not really sure why I'm on here. It might have something to do with the fact that my friend implanted the idea that everyone was online these days... oh yeah, and he's also got a gun to my head right now, demanding that I read the personals. I just needed that extra incentive.

Basically, I can dig anybody who's open-minded and not always out looking for an angle or how a situation can benefit them. Oh yeah, and be smart. It helps if you can talk about things other than the latest episode of America's Top Model or how stylish your thousand dollar purse is. If your idea of a good time is sitting around on your beanbag chair and watching Law and Order SVU repeats, then you might want to move your hand slowly away from the "send mail" button. -I could be the most absurdly silly and the most serious person you've ever met
-My sense of humor is pretty hardcore. Fair warning to oversensitive people.
-I love my job, but my real passion is writing short stories and verse
-Have a membership at a rock climbing center, which ties me over until the spring, when I'll head out to upstate NY and PA
-I like traveling and going to outdoor music festivals
-Going bike riding and kayaking is a lot more fun than being a bad ass at the local dive bar. Course, I do that too when I want to.
-Education is huge to me, I'm always learning on my own or taking classes or seminars to improve myself. Lately I've been studying Zen Buddhism and Russian history. Because I can.

-On any given weekend, I may pick everything up and go driving down to Boston, D.C., Pittsburgh, wherever. Did it even when gas prices were insane.
