The Holidays are gonna be here soon, i'm gonna hafta put the tractor up for the season, and we had our first "real" snowfall on the 9th. As soon as the sun came up it was gone!So,a new prfile seemed like a good idea.I'm gonna start with the "real me" stuff. I SMOKE,I enjoy smoking what I like to call good cigars!As in all things though there is a time and a place for everything.I also enjoy a good glass of wine,cognac,and an ocassional beer.I've never been arrested,been to jail, or in a bar fight!Raised all 4 of my kids at one time or another as a single parent and have helped ALL my kids with raising the Grandkids,all 8 of them. I feel like it is my turn although I would never quit helping my kids.It would be great to have a dance partner even if we never left the livingroon!Don't forget, we are a few miles from a REAL town.We could share the kitchen as I love to try new recipes. Weekend getaways would be a whole lot more fun with a friend.Anything else is open to consideration.Don't like to fight but I do enjoy spirited debate and intellectual conversation.I'm somewhat of a homebody which should'nt be a suprise considering the distance to "town" but I don't mind the drive to Cruces,Deming,or Siera Vista when there is a reason to go.I forgot Wilcox for antiqueing although I prefer a home cooked meal and music or video while cuddling on the couch or an after dinner walk on my 80 acres.There's always something to see or explore here as I'm located between the Chiricahua and Peloncillo mntns.You've never seen a sunrise like the ones I see everyday comming up behind the mountains,or,if you're more of a night person we could watch the moon come up while stargazing.There's numerous forms of wildlife here including but not limited to birds of prey,mountain lions,wild buffalo,antelope,and javelina just to name a few.IT should be obvious that I prefer the quiet and solitude of the "country".I share my home with my youngest son and my oldest son and his family for now as a temporrary situation untill they get on there feet.Like I said,i'm a family man.I'm financially stable and pretty much own everything free and clear and don't mind sharing as long as you don't either.I've had to work for everything and can't stand lazy or opportunistic users.There are alot of things I would like to accomplish and would really look forward to having a PARTNER to share the good and the bad.My favorite color is red and as true to my cancerean moon sign i'm very romantic and creative.I love the smell of rain here in the desert and real leather,especially if it's worn by an attractive and preferably tall woman.Read into that as you may!I'm not a cheater or a beater but I am commited to pleasing my partner and doing whatever it takes to keep the relationship interesting.All I ask is the same in return.Some would call this lifestye boring and uneventfull,but ask yourself,would you rather smell aspalt and exhaust gases all day or never know what wildlife might decide to run or stroll past your window in the desert landscape?We could talk about the beauty of the desert and the mountains for hours.And no, I don't care much for city life and would never consider going back to it.No,not stubborn,just happy and secure with the life i've made here and only desire to share it with someone special.So there you have it!As honest and open as I can be at this time!Anything else you want to know,you'll have to ask!Not a real exciting profile but you should have a better idea of who I am.Not looking to change anyone or be changed.You be you and i'll be me and maybe we can have a good time getting to know each other. At the sake of sounding ignorant, could someone please tell me what the hell "other" relationship means?

On the first date we should probably meet in a neutral and public place for a light lunch,dinner, and/or a movie if we are both comfortable with eachother or spend a day walking and talking while windowshopping in Bisbee or Tombstone.Just an idea. y
