I left for awhile because of some family stuff going on. Right now, I'm slowly dipping my toes into the "dating scene" to see if there is anything out there.

Things I value are honesty, a sense of humor, and respect. I'm usually pretty laid back. I do have a quick temper, but it usually blows over pretty quickly. I'm sensitive and empathetic.
I have a few good friends here in VA. I moved here from NJ a few years ago, and most of my friends are either back up North, or have scattered themselves across the country (we all wanted out of Jersey

I think it's important to get to know each other slowly. If you can be friends first, the rest of it will fall into place.
I believe we all have our own special "issues," the trick is to find someone who's issues don't clash with yours, but they mesh and balance each other's out. Right?

I think meeting at a bookstore coffee shop for a hot cuppa joe and some light conversation is a great way to meet someone new. No pressure, just fun. And if we decide we aren't friends material...you're in a bookstore! No trip to a bookstore is ever wasted.
