I guess I'm here for the same reason most people are – to meet interesting new people I wouldn't just run into and see if there is a connection. I live a balanced life between working hard, staying in touch with family and friends, and having some quality “me time”. I'm educated, but also feel that intelligence also comes from life experiences and keeping an open mind about the world.

Some random tid-bits about me: I love Houston sports teams like the Rockets, Texans, Astros, and of course my beloved Coogs. Most evenings if i'm not doing something else, I'm at 24 hour fitness. I love photography and usually take my camera with me everywhere. While I like most original music, I'm a huge underground 80's music fan and have a huge collection of rare songs. I like to go out to have fun with good company and not to just go out to say I was out. My favorite parts of town are mid-town and the heights but I usually try to go to more hole in the wall places with some character than yuppie hang-outs. I'm mostly content spending a nice evening at home watching movies with good company and wine. In case you're wondering, I'm Persian :)

I am looking for someone that can i have chemistry with. Someone who will be my equal. Someone with a nice mixture of being carefree, educated, serious, and fun. I'd prefer a girl who kind of knows where she is in life and while she doesn't have all the answers, at least has a sense of direction and is at a stage where we could grow together.

Bonus star for girls who are cultured, follow sports, smell good, and appreciate 80's music.

A couple of pet peeves of mine here: Please have a realistic picture of yourself available - if all you have are spam angles, headshots, or otherwise hiding how you look in real life, that's not a good sign and dishonest.

All depends on how well i know the girl before the date, but I'd really not rather have dinner or go see a movie the first time I meet them. Maybe a drink or somewhere more lively so it won't feel awkward. Coffeeshop is good too.
