I have a great zest for life and enjoy everything from tough gym workouts to relaxing happy hours to Super Bowl excitement to quiet time reading.

A wonderful day: weight-lifting at the Y, scrambled eggs and coffee, NY Times, news scoops (on days I'm working) walk in the sunshine, Raymond Chandler mysteries, glass of prosecco, dinner with friends, Giants/Knicks/Mets victory, deep sleep.

After my fast-paced, deadline-oriented work day, I so appreciate time to unwind.

Everyday I try to learn more, read widely, laugh often, honor my parents, support my friends, be grateful for my health and enjoy the unexpected.

It's a blessing to get to know someone who excites you and "gets" you -- and for those feelings to be mutual. By now, I know when to offer support and when to give someone space.

I admire men who are decisive and know themselves but are willing to dance a new step sometimes.

If I'm lucky, his sense of humor would be great, flair for life deep, mind sharp and health strong.

It would depend on what my date likes. Ideally, we would be able to combine time to talk while sharing a coffee or meal or seeing a movie, game or show we both like.
