Hello. I'd like to start out by saying that I am a native NC'er. I was raised in a small town and think of myself as having a large city intellect with a small town heart. I am not a power-broker, I lead a simple life and do not go out of my way to search for complications... translation.. No Drama! I consider myself very well-spoken, very self-actualized ( no, I am not in therapy, I just like the word), I know how to express my feelings and can easily tell you what I am thinking. I like going out and doing things, but I do not feel compelled to fill every waking moment with activity. To me there is great benefit in enjoying down time and just being still.

As for who I am looking for, for starters i am looking for someone to hang out with. If it leads to a relationship, good, if not, no worries. I do not compare myself to others and do not hold myself up against some imaginary list of things I need to do before I die. I am looking for a woman who is sure of herself, who has not allowed the trials of life to diminish her spirit. Someone who has an opinion and expresses it, someone who has a sense of humor, someone who is aware of the events of the world and is sympathetic toward the plight of those less fortunate. I do believe in God and His Son Jesus, while I understand there are other interpretations of religion I will not go out with anyone who classifies themself as an "atheist" or "agnostic"... we just would not click.

I like casual encounters. Coffee houses, bookstores, even a fun activity like golf. I don't mind upscale restaurants, but I like to save those for the fourth date or so.
