First off, isn't it pretty funny that the phrase "I Cannot Explain Myself in 40 Characters" is in fact 40 characters long.

Now then, a bit about myself. I am 21 years old, although I definitely do not look it! I design software and manage its development for a small tech company in the Loop and I am more than pleased with my work life. I've been in Chicago for just over a year and had been focusing on advancing my career, but I've settled into things in that respect and now have lots of flexiblity to go out, play and have a good time.

I'd like to meet someone who wants to explore this great city and all of the social and intellectual riches that it has to offer. I may not drink myself, but rest assured I have no problem going out to clubs or bars; in fact I know of quite a few pretty cool places where we would probably have a great time. I am definitely of the old school in terms of chilvary, so hopefully you won't have a problem with me opening the door for you or treating you to a night out.

I'm not adverse to making new friends but I am definitely searching for something more substantial than that.

Nothing I've done before has managed to beat the old standard: coffee and pleasant conversation. Some get to know you time is a must and if you can think of a better way to accomplish that, I'm open to suggestions.
