My favourite spot on earth is my cabin in the Cariboo where I can pursue my passion for fly fishing and I find being surrounded by nature to be both peaceful and healing. I love to hang out with friends and I'm still active in softball and hockey, although I've become quite passionate with golf in recent years. I've always been athletic and have no intention to quit being active. I'm successfully self-employed and financially responsible but it's not the money that makes my life rich but the memories made with friends and family. My life is balanced and I'm very happy with who I am and where I'm at, the only piece missing is you.

I'm very giving by nature, a gentleman always. I'm confident and compassionate, trustworty and loyal, a promise keeper always and someone who can go the distance. I also love to write when I have the chance and photography is another hobby I'm trying to get better at. I'll always be young at heart, don't look my age, love to laugh and have fun, and almost always smell good. I'm an excellent listener and communicator, neat and even have all my hair (none of it on my back!) As an added bonus, what little baggage there is has been neatly tucked away and there's no ties to the past lingering in the shadows. Should we connect, I'm all yours and I'm more than ready to give you my very best. I am only willing to fall in love one more time and if you can make it feel like the very first time, then all the better! Sure, I can admit to having guards at the drawbridge of my heart who protect it fiercely so it will take someone very special to get past them. Might that person be you?

I'm attracted to girl-next-door types. Women who love to laugh. Women who have really good friends and love their family. Women who are happy with their life! Women who are fit and active, and can see the world beyond their own needs. I have no interest in selfishness, high drama or high maintenance. I absolutely adore children and if you have one or two, it won't scare me away if all the other circumstances and qualities are right. I believe in peaceful negotiations, not the dropping of atom bombs, when settling differences. My conflict resolution skills are quite good and I'm looking for the same. I am not interested in addictions of any kind, save for you not being able to keep your hands off me, so if you are struggling with something like that, please pass me by. I've been a rescuer in the past and it's never turned out well for me and I'm not willing to do it again. Not that I'm not compassionate, I am. And I wish you luck with any of the demons you face but I won't get involved. Life is too short at this point.

Although ultimately I'd love to find "the one", friends and activity partners are just as welcome! I happen to believe that friendship is one of the greatest gifts life offers us so I am not opposed to making new friends. Starting out as friends might be the best way to go they say. Don't be shy...
