I’m a fun-loving, easy-going, family guy who makes the personal and leisure side of life a priority over work and career. I enjoy getting together with family and friends for most any activity. I love children and take parenting very seriously. My son is the most important thing in my life.

I’m tolerant and respectful of other people, and it’s important to me to be patient, supportive, and understanding with others. I’m honest in my comments, but in a diplomatic way. I’m not a very competitive person and I don’t have a need to feel bigger or better than someone else. Due to this lack of competitiveness, I don’t follow sports, although I enjoy watching and supporting someone I know play in person. Constant home maintenance is not my thing and I’d rather pay someone else to do the bigger stuff.

I like to notice and enjoy the little things in life, and I don’t take myself too seriously. I enjoy laughing and I entertain myself all the time with some of the dumb things I do. I can also be quiet and reflective at times. I’m comfortable in different settings, from being a homebody to enjoying socializing. I’m a loyal person and enjoy the romantic and sensual parts of life, including hugging, holding hands, and just hanging out together and cuddling. I’m not religious, but it’s fine if my partner has a sense of spirituality. I’m not your typical man, but I do have a few typical interests that I enjoy, such as movies, tv, theater, dancing, live music, wine, automotive trends and design, walks, bike rides, activities with my son, joint meals and card playing with friends, seeing new places and things, and hot-tubbing. I enjoy Top 40 music, so my interests change with the times, but I get into old favorites too and I’m willing to listen to most anything for a while other than rap and heavy metal.

I’m looking for someone who is willing to take the time to get to know each other and grow into best friends, because I feel that friendship is what sustains love over the long-term. She would accept me for who I am, as I would her. It’s who the person is that we fall in love with, including the quirks and imperfections. An exact match is often not a perfect match. Someone who compliments us in most areas and balances us in a few areas is often the better match. I’m looking for a partner in life, someone who meshes with me and enjoys my company. She doesn’t have to enjoy all my interests, but does need to respect them. The respect would be mutual from me. She would have a good sense of humor and have the ability to make fun of herself, and enjoy the romantic and sensual sides to a relationship. She would remember to enjoy life and not be hung up on perfection and agendas.

Probably meet for lunch or drinks, talk and get to know each other a little more, and decide if there is enough in common and interest in meeting again.
